"Generation Gap"

"Capture Dallas" was the instruction given when I accepted the assignment to decorate the walls of a new suite of offices for a Dallas corporation.  Over the course of several days and nights, I roamed the streets of Dallas hoping to show the many facets of this bustling metropolis.  While in the heart of downtown Dallas, the distinct differences between an aging Dallas High School built in the early 20th century, dwarfed by the 60's-inspired design of the Sheraton Hotel caught my eye. Two, aging "Grand Dames" provided a glimpse of architectural styles of the past.

  1. Love the old high school. The windows appear to be boarded up. Is it vacant? Any chance for restoration? Suzanne

  4. i always wonder what they're going to do with that old high school ~ i'm sure someones going to tear it down. they seem to be doing that with everything old and pretty lately, but so far it's just boarded up. whenever we drive past it I always ask my husband if I can have it and he says NO.
